"The name of the game is to talk to people. If you don't talk to people, you can't get started...You knock on twenty doors or so, and twenty guys tell you to go to hell, or that they haven't got time. But maybe at the fortieth or sixtieth house you find the one guy who is all you need. You're not going to organize everything; you're just going to get it started."
- Cesar Chavez

Change of Atmosphere supports educational tours as a method to catalyze change within the pre-exiting structures of the local community. Educational tours offer a space for communities to congregate and talk about the integrity and direction of their community, while challenging them to consider alternatives. Change of Atmosphere believes this is one of the most powerful mediums to disseminate information and excite individuals about the power they have as a collective group, thereby reinvigorating local efforts to work towards sustainability.

Change of Atmosphere is currently developing opportunites for 2008 - check back this Spring to see our upcoming projects. In the meantime, please visit some of the working partners in our extended network:

Sustainable Living Roadshow (SLR), an energized collaboration of entertainers, activists, and educators. SLR is coordinating a cross-country tour which teaches, inspires and empowers communities and individuals to adopt and utilize sustainable strategies for a healthier planet. The tour will travel in a fleet of non-petroleum based renewable fuel vehicles visiting communities and university campuses across the southeastern United States. The caravan will set up demonstration zero-waste eco-villages in each city featuring workshops, speakers and entertainment.
